Previous Summit Testimonial

"The Geriatric Summit was filled with helpful and practical information, not only for fellow geriatric clinicians, but for those of us who have parents that are aging and have mobility or cognitive issues. I got so much value out of listening to the speakers. Even though I am an OT, I do not currently work in geriatrics, so it was encouraging and filled me with hope to know that I can not only be a better OT if I ever decided to go back into traditional practice, but I can be a better daughter for my dad!"

~Jill Garaffa, MS, OTR/L, PCC, ELI-MP

"I wanted to send out a "Thank you" and tell you what an amazing job you did with putting together this summit. It was so informative, motivating, and innovative for me. I am always looking to better myself as a clinician and person. This summit helped me in both of these areas. I have gained a depth of knowledge that others would not have without attending this seminar. I am a proud occupational therapist and love the profession. This helped me both with developing my goals for my business as well as confidence in the therapy that I provide. I have posts that I put on Instagram and am proud to promote this event. Thank you."

~ Shanna M. Larocque BS, MOT, OTR/L, CDP, CMDCP

"The Virtual Geriatric Summit was a great value and I highly recommend checking it out! I learned many new things I could immediately apply to practice all while comfortably at home. It was also inspiring being surrounded by and learning from therapists in so many different specialties and practice areas supporting older adults!"

~ Karrie Stanley OT

Vitalize Home Therapy PLLC

"It was a pleasure to speak at the Virtual Geriatric Summit. The support and leadership at the conference made the process easy and enjoyable. In addition, the therapists' dedication to their respective roles brought the level of energy and excitement to serve others to a high level. As a participant, I learned from dedicated and caring therapists about a variety of diagnoses and treatments as well as business strategies applicable to my current Physical Therapy and coaching practice. Therefore, I recommend the Summit for all therapists who want to deepen and broaden their scope of practice. "

~Teresa Moerer, PT

"I have to say that I was so impressed with the Geriatric Summit! I didn't know until later that this was the first!! The variety and quality of topics and presenters was incredible. I am very thankful for the opportunity to learn from everyone, and especially at such a reasonable cost! Thank you, Kara and company!"

Are CEUs Available?

Each session has a course description, course objectives, and an assessment component, which are usual requirements for CEUs. We also are able to track attendance for both live and recorded sessions to ensure attendance for the full time period.

You will receive a Certificate of Attendance after successful completion of the assessment. This certificate may be submitted for CEU's by your state or national association.  It is your responsibility to check with your state or national association.

You will receive a certificate of attendance for both live and recorded sessions after successful completion of an assessment component.

Example:

NBCOT Certification Renewal Activities:

"Successfully complete education (e.g., workshops, seminars, lectures, online courses, or conference) with an assessment component at the end of the program (e.g., scored test, project, paper)."

"A certificate of attendance or a letter from the provider verifying contact hours or CEU, date(s), event title, attendee name, agenda, and indicates successful completion of assessment component at the end of the program (e.g., scored test, project, paper)."

Do we have access to the Recordings?

During the Live Event April 30, May 1, and May 2 you will be able to join any of the sessions live.

After the Live Event, you will have access to the recordings of all sessions for one week. If you are a VIP, you will have access to the recordings for 1 year. We do not plan to remove access after one year, however, we have learned over the years to not give life time access, as things change.
